Fidelity Telephone Company offers local telephone service to nine exchanges in Franklin, Crawford, and Gasconade counties. The Fidelity exchanges include Berger, Gerald/Rosebud, Japan, Lyon, New Haven, Owensville, Spring Bluff, Stanton and Sullivan.
Fidelity uses high-quality switching equipment, a Lucent Technologies 5ESS host/remote switching platform, with SS7 signaling to offer customers the most advanced telecommunications services. A SONET-based fiber optic network connects each exchange to the tandem switch in an effort to maintain equal service to all customers.
